Idah's friend ordered a box of cookies some days ago. Was told half was to be given to her dad while half for herself. But instead, her dad ate all 20 pieces in one go!

Younger brother can be irritating at times but sometimes they are just what the doctor ordered.

After baking a batch of cookies for Fate about a week ago, my bro Salam, took some remaining pieces from the supposed cookie jar to school. Before i know it, 2 of his frens ordered a box each. And today 3 more orders came in. Im truly impressed. Thxs bro. =)

Just for them cute kids, other than then the normal price of $9.5 for a box of 20 big cookies (rectangular container), i made a new package of $5 for a box of 10 big cookies (round container).

And these packaged cookies looks great as a gift to anyone for any occasion if i do say so myself.

Hi y'all,

And we're back! After the long hiatus. The website is still under construction but we have already established our newly priced catalogue. Request can be made via email since we have yet to link it up here. Pictures are slowly being uploaded. But if upon request we can email it to u too.

For those who know us beforehand, we still offer the same goodies of great quality. There are adjustments made to some of the old recipes and there are some newly additions to provide you with more yummy-licious treats. Not to forget that new packaging are also being introduced.

I've yet to post something up seeing that all entries are from sis. hee ..

So here goes ... wee~

It's amazing that what we love doing finally turned into something cool. It's surreal that this is all really happening which started from just talks and planning. And to see our website hits increasing is really wow... hehe. Hopefully those visiting would tag (wheres my frens? .. waha) esp who ever tried our baking before. pls leave comments for others to know how it all taste like. 'grins'

For now what you see in our catalog are the basic of our mini business. I can assure you all are to die for. Our siblings can vouch for that. 'grins' But as time goes by, we will try to add new recipes ... so stay tune. hee ..

So why baking if you may ask. Mayb it's because when we were young, mum would love to bake and we will always be there to either help to stir or lick the spoon. haha. mum's passion for baking is now passed down to us. I can still remember her soft yummy rainbow sponge cake. Just need to find the recipe to relive this memory. hee ..
or mayb to see that after combining flour, sugar, eggs etc etc and putting it into the oven, it comes out perfectly delicious. We will be over the moon when it does ... each and every time.
or maybe after researching different similar recipes and mixing and matching and changing it all to get the perfect recipe and seeing it works is totally once again over the moon ... haha

Actually, it's everything stated above. haha ..

How did we arrive here?

All of this started when mum bought a brand new oven to replace our 18 year old oven that had breathed its last.
With the brand new spanking oven I decided to bake cupcakes for my last day of my previous job to give out to my colleagues. Soon after sis decided to bake cookies for her friends, and well the rest is history. We experimented on various cupcakes, icings, brownies, cookies and cakes. Admittedly most of our baking goods mostly has chocolate in them being the chocoholics that we are ;)

We are still searching for the perfect frosting, finding out the perfect way to ice cupcakes and cakes. If you will give us a chance to practice on our skills we are happy to provide our services to you. Cupcakes, muffins, cakes, cookies, brownies, what ever you may fancy. Double Chocolate Chip Madness

We received an order from Asy's friend. The item of choice, choc chip cupcakes!
It was our first big order of choc chip cupcakes and we were afraid that that our choc chip might sink to the bottom like the first time we tried it.
But after tweaking the recipe we did it!
And this is also my first attempt at icing muffins with an icing bag. lolx.

ouh and we did mini's too!

Chocolate Ribbon Cake

today i had the itch to bake again.
Went to the baking shop my mum told me about which was supposedly located at the 'pasar' near our house. But to my dismay there was nothing there except cake boxes and small baking cups on SALE. tsk.
Since i had time to kill i decided to make my way to IKEA and the Giant Megastore since its very near home and the 'pasar' as well.

Called sis who was at home about the situation and asked if she was up to meeting me at IKEA to buy the much needed baking stuff and have ourselves some late lunch. In case you were wondering, why IKEA? We went to IKEA to get kitchen utensils as well as baking and muffin pans cos the one we had at home was kinda old and we needed new ones to fit the new oven. *grinz*

So what did i decide to bake today?

Today i tried my hand at baking a cake!
Its been ages since i last attempted to bake one.
I think the last time i baked a cake was when i miserably failed my food&nutrition exams during my secondary school days.
The pressure to complete in time i tell you i tell you. tsk. lol
I hate being put on pressure when cooking.
good things take time i say. lolx

Baking adventures with Rodney

Me and Rodney decided to try our hand at baking, which we did!
So Rodney being the great unicorn that he is, decided to share various pics of his first supermarket shopping and baking adventure!

Waiting for the bus to get to Tampines Interchange.
We decided to go to NTUC Fairprice at Tampines Mall instead of the one that is a stone throw away from our home which is located at Tampines Central CC since we decided that we could get more things at TM.
